All those who are interested in GRID techniques are cordially invited to join a one day meeting on Monday, September, 5th 2005 at AEI. This meeting is mainly organized by scientists of the Astrophysical Relativity Department (Group Numerical Relativity, GridLab) and members of the IT department. The work of the numerical relativity Group is multi-disciplinary effort, spanning the fields of relativistic astrophysics, differential geometry, mathematics of nonlinear partial differential equations and high performance computing. As a result, the numerical relativity effort at the Albert Einstein Institute (AEI) is carried out by members of both the 'Astrophysical Relativity' and 'Geometric Analysis and Gravitation' divisions. Our research interests cover all aspects of numerical relativity, with an emphasis on the numerical modelling of sources of gravitational radiation. Many of our codes contribute to the development of community software such as the Cactus Computational Toolkit, and active research in grid computing via the Gridlab project. The goal of the meeting/workshop is to exchange experiences , focusing GRID technologies. Therefore everyone who would like to participate in this meeting is invited to give a short introduction of what he is doing with GRID-Computing.The Cluster Grid Day is over, but the participants agreed that it is important to stay in contect to keep the community alive. The target of the Cluster Grid Day is now to help each other with projects, including get founding, share information, collaboration and hints about planing. If you want to join the Cluster and Grid Community or need help with you Cluster/Grid project, join the mailinglist.
